Ingredients

1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tablespoon cane sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cardamom, ground optional
1/8 teaspoon allspice optional
1 pinch clove
1 pinch fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, start to whip the heavy cream either by hand with a whisk or with a mixer.
When the cream begins to thicken, add the sugar, spices, vanilla paste and pinch of salt and continue to whisk.
Being careful not to overmix, whisk until stiff peaks form.
Place the spiced whipped cream in a sealed container in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.

Notes

Spiced flavor can be adjusted by adding more or less of the spices to suit personal preferences.
This makes about 1 cup whipped topping, feel free to double it if you'd like more.
