Instructions

  • Combine white vinegar and a German chamomile into an 8 oz spray bottle and swirl together.
  • Top the vinegar mixture off with distilled water, add the spray top and shake vigorously to mix the solution together.
  • When ready to use, give the spray bottle a few shakes and spritz your dog's paws with the cleaner. Make sure to cover the paw pads and the spaces between the toes.
  • Using a clean, soft cloth, paper towel, or baby wipe, gently wipe your dog's paws to remove dirt and irritants. Reapply the spray if needed until no more dirt is seen on the cloth.

Notes

  • Muddy Paws: For super muddy paws, rinse with water first and then apply the spray.
  • Old Rags: Cut up a few old t-shirts or towels and keep them hand for wiping your pet's paws. It should be easy to throw them in with your laundry to clean as needed.
  • Apply a Weekly Moisturizer: If you notice your dog's paws getting dry and cracked from daily walks, try massaging the pads weekly with Shea Butter or a product like Burt's Bees Restoring Nose and Paw Balm.
  • Multi-use:  This spray doubles as a deodorizer spray for your dog and also as a mild countertop cleaner or for cleaning up muddy paw prints off tile and wood floors.
